Coach Taggart is passionate about basketball and sharing her love of the game with Westman area youth. Originally from Winnipeg, she moved to Brandon in 2006 and has been actively coaching in our community ever since.

Juan Mosquera - Director & Head Coach - Programming

Coach Mosquera has been an assistant coach of the Brandon University Women's Basketball team since 2016. He graduated from Universidad Central in Colombia with a degree in Business Administration. Shortly after, he moved to Canada with his family and was eager to integrate himself in the basketball community.  Coach Mosquera has played basketball since he was 8 years old, which ultimately fueled his passion for coaching. Now a NCCP certified coach, Coach Mosquera has played a crucial role in the development of young athletes in Westman through the Bobcats Basketball Academy, Junior Bobcats and the BU Summer Basketball Camps .
